We have to stretch ourselves to grow. And sometimes, that gets reallllly uncomfortable. When a client comes to me with a pain pattern that is totally unexplained (no fall, no injury, no trauma) I start talking about what areas of their life are serving up gobs of stress.
The client usually brushes off the question as, “Well, stress is normal, right ?”….until they share with me what is really going on behind the scenes.
What isn’t normal is chronic stress and having physical symptoms that have turned chronic (back pain, neck pain, digestive problems, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disorders, headaches/mirgraines)–to name a few.
Clients also tell me that they have tried so many things to get out of pain and nothing has worked. There is a reason for that and that is called your brain. Yes, your brain makes it hard for you to change a habit and also create a new neuropathway. Changing your thoughts and habits lead to a lot less stress.
